Crowdfunding is a way to fund projects or ideas through many small contributions (from the “crowd”). You are probably familiar with Kickstarter, or Kiva, but there are many more specialist crowdfunding mechanisms available now. The top 40 Crowdfunding sites were listed recently in the Transition Network REconomy Project Blog. There is no excuse not to find a good project to support, and no excuse not to find a platform to raise support for any excellent ideas lurking in the back of your mind!
